G is apparent magnitude; BP−RP is measured color, not temperature. Absolute G uses positive ≥5σ parallaxes; 3D requires signal/error≥10 and RUWE<1.4. Both use approximate1000/parallax. Published temperatures are estimates: GSP-Spec requires its first13 atmospheric flags zero and3500<Teff<7625K; otherwise a published GSP-Phot best-library model with positive ordered interval, parallax signal/error>10, RUWE<1.4 and Teff<10000K may be shown. These are conservative display screens, not universal Gaia quality guarantees. Missing/rejected estimates stay unavailable. Published16th–84th percentile intervals exclude model systematics and can be overconfident. No temperature is inferred from color. No extinction or zero-point correction; first-order uncertainty is approximate, not a distance posterior. No time propagation or missing radial velocity inference. DR3 positions describe J2016.0; prior releases are separate reductions, not time frames. Use official release cross-match tables when comparing them.
